- Fresh dill, chopped: 2 tablespoons
- Red onion, finely diced: 1/4 cup
- Cherry tomatoes, halved: 1 cup
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook turkey bacon according to package directions until crispy. Let cool slightly, then crumble or chop into small pieces.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the diced cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced red onion.
- Step 3: Add the crumbled turkey bacon to the bowl.
- Step 4: Pour the ranch dressing over the salad.
- Step 5: Sprinkle in the chopped fresh dill, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Step 6: Gently toss all ingredients together until well combined. Serve immediately or chill for later.
Notes
- For best flavor and crunch, add the ranch dressing just before serving to prevent a soggy salad.
- This salad is best enjoyed cold; reheating isn't recommended as it will wilt the cucumber and tomatoes.
- Serve this refreshing salad as a light lunch or a flavorful side dish with grilled chicken or fish.
- To intensify the dill flavor, gently massage the chopped dill with a pinch of salt before adding it to the salad.
