Ingredients
- Salmon fillets: 2 (6-8 oz each), skin on or off
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley (chopped): 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps them to get crispy.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Step 4: Brush the mixture evenly over the tops and sides of the salmon fillets.
- Step 5: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. If necessary, cook in batches.
- Step 6: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For best results when reheating, lightly brush with olive oil and air fry at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes until warmed through.
- Serve this easy salmon with a side of roasted asparagus or a simple quinoa salad for a complete and healthy meal.
- Chef's tip: For extra crispy skin, start skin-side up in the air fryer for the first half of the cooking time, then flip.
