Ingredients
- Ramen noodles (dried): 2 packages
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce: 1-2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Ginger, grated: 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Green onions, chopped: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, omitting the seasoning packet. Drain well.
- Step 2: While the noodles are cooking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Step 3: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sauce over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant and slightly thickened.
- Step 4: Add the cooked and drained ramen noodles to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
- Step 5: Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the noodles are heated through and the sauce has further thickened and clings to the noodles.
- Step 6: Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover noodles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat the noodles in a skillet over medium-low heat with a splash of water or broth to prevent them from drying out.
- Serve these noodles with a fried egg on top for added richness and protein, making it a complete meal.
- For an extra flavor boost, lightly toast the sesame oil in the pan before adding the other sauce ingredients to enhance its nutty aroma.
